Office of Labor-Management Enforcement
The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) conducts both civil and criminal investigations of alleged violations of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA) and related laws.
These investigations by OLMS District Offices involve issues such as embezzlements of union funds, union officer elections, the filing of required reports by unions and others with OLMS, and the imposition of trusteeships over subordinate unions by a parent body. These investigations may result in legal enforcement actions.

January 6th, 2020 On January 6, 2020, in the 12th Judicial District of Jackson County, Larissa Iveson, daughter of a former Treasurer of the United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 373 (located in Litchfield, Mich.), was charged with one felony count of possession of a financial device, in violation of Michigan Compiled Law (MCL) 750.157P, and one felony count of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device without consent, in violation of MCL 750.157N. The charges follow an investigation by the OLMS Detroit-Milwaukee Office.
